Performance Staffing Solutions is partnering with a Gastonia, NC area company and facility in search of Carpenter/Sanders to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and complete hoods based on daily production orders.
- Communicate with other employees in the sanding department to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Sand hoods with straps, chimney extensions, molding, accessories, and loose items.
- Correct any materials imperfections and veneer damage.
- Sands the moldings and check that everything is at top quality before the finish is applied.
- Sand using extra fine material to prep the hoods for sanding and to correct and removing any minor imperfections.
- Inspect hoods for quality.
- Apply Bondo and other materials to the hoods.
- Sweep and clean station at the end of each shift.

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
