GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs basic administrative support work processing and issuing permits, providing customer service, maintaining records, and related work. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Planning Manager (supervisor).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
None
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience working in a permit, planning or similar department or office, including one (1) year in an office setting or providing customer service.
Permit Technician Certification from International Code Council (ICC), or similar organization.
Selection will be based on overall qualifications, skills testing (if applicable), and an interview process. Final candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background/reference check commensurate to the position.
Please note that interviews will be tentatively scheduled for the week of April 24th.
