We are currently looking for a Telecommunications Administrator to join our team in Dublin, GA!

SUMMARY

Telecommunications Administrator is responsible for maintaining equipment and networks that provide interactions between data and voice communications, such as telephone, video conferencing, computer and voicemail systems. Telecommunications Administrators support workers in offices and laboratories. The administrator shall also be responsible for basic documentation and maintaining documentation of circuits, numbers and sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for processing on/off- boarding new hires onto network and telephony systems
• Updates and maintains accurate documentation of network topologies, circuit and line information
• Troubleshoots and solves first tier isolation of Telephony and Network issues
• Coordinates installation of new cabling and /or circuits
• Oversees day to day operation of WLAN and LAN systems (configuring, patching, and managing as approved by management)
• Assist the Director of Network & Telecommunications with activities to support the company’s IT infrastructure
• Collaborate with the MIS department to deliver excellent customer experience for our users

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

• Must have a clear understanding of LAN, WLAN and WAN principles
• Knowledge of networking and wiring standards
• Basic understanding of network security
• Must have an understanding of security IT practices
• Ability to work without direct supervision; must be self motivated
• Proficient with Google Drive/Applications or related software.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree required. Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in the telecommunications field (revelat certifications such as CCNA are a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
