Summary
***SALARY: $14- $19 per hour ***
This position exists to assist Dispatchers with taking customer service requests that help maintain Field Service Technician’s productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer phone calls and issue field service tickets accordingly
- Read and issue tickets for field service emails, as well as respond to senders
- Coordinate with department managers to schedule installs
- Answer basic calls from customers and enter corresponding data into the computer
- Call customers to schedule install dates and times
- Send progress updates to specific clients on a regular, sometimes daily basis
- Gather information for customer hit dispenser and repair quotes, including sending the technician to gather information. Forward the information to the quoting team and then send the final quote to the customer and keeps the customer updated throughout this process
- Update service bills that need parts, including part numbers and move to the appropriate “need parts” column on dispatch board
- Issue fixed tickets
- Update weekly Work-in-Process (WIP) reports for open service tickets
- Verify technician locations and check service board for accuracy
- Assist Dispatch Supervisor as needed
- Send site work notifications
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail for daily scheduling activities
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Proficiency in computer usage
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen
