PROJECT MANAGER – BASE OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manages daily operations of an Air Force Base Operations Support (BOS) Program. Responsibilities include, program policy, providing direction, guidance, and ensuring accomplishment of the BOS mission. Represents the company at meetings with Government personnel and is empowered to make decisions and agreements for the company. Ensures strict compliance with the contract provisions, corporate policies and applicable government directives. Allocates available resources of personnel, funds, facilities, and equipment to gain maximum mission effectiveness. Ensures accuracy and timely submission of reports. Ensures sufficient personnel are on duty or standby to support the contract. Conducts regular critiques of operations with Functional Managers. Provides required support to customer activities. Directly supervises and provides direction to the Functional Managers. Must possess or be able to submit to and successfully pass an extensive government background investigation leading to a Secret Security Clearance.

Experience/Qualifications:

Possesses at least 3 years’ experience, which occurred within the last six years simultaneously managing three or more functions of the following: Supply, Vehicle Operations and Maintenance, Traffic Management, Real Property Maintenance, Fuels Management, Services of a Base Operations Support Contract, or services of similar magnitude and scope. Bachelor or higher college degree required.

Must be able to relocate to Homestead ARB, FL.
