POSITION TITLE: Equipment Operator/ Truck Driver

REPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Duties

· Bringing Transportation vehicles (e.g Terberg, Taylor Stacker, Fork Lifts, and Transportation Trucks, etc.) into service

· Loading, extracting, and transporting materials with equipment to various locations throughout the mill

· Communicating with dispatcher multiple times per day

· Loading, extracting and transporting materials

· Observing relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations

· Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer

defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment

· Maintain and protect all property

· Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and company safety programs

· Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations

· Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations

Maybe assigned to Outbound Department requiring a CDL.

Internal operators do not require a cdl but a valid drivers license.

Employment and consideration is contingent upon preemployment background screening and physical.

Job Type: Full-time
