Full Job Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining A/R for multi-specialy including cardiology, trauma, orthopedics
- Ability to successfully work 45-55 accounts daily as described below
- Work all open claims all clients
- Review and resolve denial tracking results
- Review and resolve AR: current, 30, 60, 90 and 120 days claims
- Review and resolve coding and bundling denials
- Monthly Follow up Calls IPAs
- Monthly Follow up on commercial accounts
- Daily follow up on correspondences packets
- Review and resolve appeals
- Prepare patient payment plans
- Daily Review and resolve patient f/u calls
- Review and resolve Medi-cal claims
- Coordinate with offices to resolve missing information
- Prepare collection packets for monthly meeting
- And any other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
- 3-5 years experience in resolving claim denials
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with outgoing personality
- Ability to multi-task while learning new information about our customers and our industries
- Must be a self-starter with a strong commitment to achieve company goals
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet
- Demonstrates good rapport and cooperative working relationship with all staff.
Required
- 3-5 years’ experience in resolving claim denials
- Has exposure (has called claims department for resolution)
- Medicare Advantage Plans
- Medi-cal Managed Care Plans
- Has experience with Medicare LCD/NCD look ups
Preferred Software Experience:
- AdvancedMD
- eBridge
- EPIC
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
