The Design Team at PFF is looking for an innovative Graphic Designer with UI design experience who can create effective, engaging, and inspiring visual communication consistently across all of our consumer and business touchpoints. You will champion the value of design within the team and across the company. We will rely on your eye for refinement, clarity, and simplicity to use images, designs, and graphics to communicate the positive impact of new interactions with intelligent machines, the intuitiveness of extremely complex technologies, and the value of changing behaviors and processes to integrate robots into everyday life. You will be the visual storyteller of the brand.
Reporting to the Manager, Design, this role oversees the creation and execution of graphic design solutions including imagery, user interface, motion graphics, infographics, and multimedia elements used for product development, corporate website, marketing, sales, and other forms of communication. You will have the ownership of maintaining and updating company brand guidelines as well as contributing to design systems that encompass the overall vision and goals of the company. You will create visual content in support of PFF’s corporate voice for print, motion, UI, environmental, social media assets, and packaging. An ability to work efficiently with collaborators and execute designs based on a strategic direction is critical. What You’ll Do
– Work with PFF leadership and external communications partners to create visual narrative and story of the PFF brands across media
– Help manage processes to ensure design deliverables and timelines are met
– Work with design counterparts to ensure continuity across initiatives, categories, and projects
– Prepare visual guidelines for company-wide creative assets
– Design and layout of graphics for user manuals, packaging, and printed collateral
– Assisting PFF leadership with design elements for presentations, board meetings, or major events
– Define and design visual language for consumer facing platform and business level software
– Support development team in creating visual assets like UI elements, infographics, presentations, design handoff, and documentations
What You Need
– BFA/BA in Graphic Design or other relevant field preferred
– 2+ years experience with graphic design in an agency or in-house setting delivering high-profile designs for companies with strong brand identity
– Strong visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling
– Proficient understanding of current typography design with a passion for emerging design trends and visual culture
– Expert-level knowledge of current trends in art, music, entertainment, fashion, and other design influences
– Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design
– Strong proficiency in illustration, color theory, layout, logo and iconography design
– High level of detail orientation
– Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, etc.)
– Strong visual design skills with proficiency in mobile/desktop UI, color, layout, iconography and typography
– Experience with interactive design software (Adobe XD, Figma, etc.)
– Proven experience implementing visual design systems across a range of platforms in an iterative software development environment
– Ability to function independently and in a team environment. This role does not have direct reports
– Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment working on several concurrent projects and managing time appropriately
