Pine Park Health Hiring for HCC Medical Coding Manager (Remote) Job at Remote Full Time

We’re redesigning healthcare for residents of senior living communities and looking for driven, compassionate professionals like you to join us. We’ve experienced tremendous growth in the last few years and are looking to bring an experienced HCC medical coder on board who can help us both build our HCC programming and meet our upcoming initiatives.

In this position, you play an essential role in building a value-based care model that serves geriatric patients. On the front end, you will partner with our Chief Medical Officer and Head of Care Operations and Strategy to build an accurate and thorough diagnostic capture process for our primary care provider team. On the back end, you will build an auditing process that ensures our HCC coding meets our clinical, compliance, and operations standards. Your third responsibility will be to build a feedback loop to our provider team that, based on your audit findings, celebrates their successes and educates on their diagnostic coding and documentation opportunities.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll be the first certified and experienced HCC Medical Coding Manager in the company

• You’ll design processes that serve as the bedrock to our clinical Value Based Care model:

• Educate our providers on HCC coding such that it serves patient care, accurate diagnostic risk capture, and patient fragility

• Audit HCC coding and documentation to meet clinical, compliance, and operational standards

• Provide feedback on successes and gaps in your audit work so we get smarter as a result

• Be the subject matter expert on HCC risk based coding in the company, translating the technical elements of a strong coding program to our C Suite leaders

• Make recommendations on initial and iterative build

• Stay up to date on the latest CMS HCC coding rules and regulations

• Translate HCC coding into clinical and operational impact

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
