Pine Park Health Hiring for Medical Coder (Remote) Job at Remote Full Time

We’re redesigning healthcare for residents of senior living communities and looking for driven, compassionate professionals like you to join us. We’ve experienced tremendous growth in the last few years and are looking to bring on a medical coder on board who can help us meet our upcoming initiatives.

In this role, you work from home to apply codes and make assessments according to regulations and Pine Park’s operational policies. You also report the results of an audit to the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Care Operations and Strategy. It’s your job to ensure compliance with rules related to patient privacy and electronic medical record keeping.

You will partner closely with the provider team to teach proper coding in a value-based environment, highlighting key opportunities such as missed specificity, missed attribution, or missed co-morbid capture.

This is a contract position for the month of December with an opportunity to consider full-time employment if both parties agree.

What you’ll do:

• Performing medical coding
• Review medical codes for adherence to risk adjustment models
• Reviewing patient charts/past medical records for thorough, compliant, and accurate risk adjustment capture
• Be integral in shaping our overarching brand story and sharing it with many audiences.
• Support the launch of new markets, products, and services with cross-functional team members.
