Staff Accountant

Plaid Pantries is looking for a staff accountant to join our accounting team. This position is located at the corporate office and is not a remote position. The role will be focused around cash but will support other accounting functions as well.

About Plaid Pantries:

Privately-held company operating 107 corporate (non-franchise) convenience stores, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon. Most stores are located in the Portland metropolitan area, with additional outlying units in Salem, and Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary:

• Daily reporting of cash activity
• Prepare sales reports and reconciling commission reports to third party sources
• Perform reconciliations of cash accounts and cash activity
• Setup wires, ACHs, and bank transfers
• Post monthly entries to the general ledger
• Assist customers and stores with credit card issues and complaints

Qualifications:

• One to two years of post-high school education. Will consider experience in lieu of education.
• One to two years of accounting experience
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• $25-$28/hr DOE’
