Pleiotek is looking for a motivated Mobile Application Developer in the Washington DC metro area or remote. We are seeking a highly motivated developer who enjoys mobile application development and is seeking to work on a new mobile application that will integrate and collect data from different Bluetooth devices to support patient care and medical care documentation. You will get to work on cutting edge research and prototypes developing mobile applications using Bluetooth, NFC, Wifi etc. We are seeking someone who knows android, swift , cocoa, objective c and is willing to develop and try new capabilities in the area of mobile medicine.
The right individuals for this role will have a solid understanding of Android, Java, Scrum, and Iterative development. Prior experience with Bluetooth , NFC , and Wifi are desired.
As this work is for a US Government Customer, candidates must be a US Citizen either already having or capable of clearing a background check and security clearance. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, and delivery of technical components of the application
- Work with broader Scrum team on the design, development, and translation of functional requirements into technical work packages that can be developed.
- Work as a developer on an integrated Agile Scrum Team. Participate in Scrum Ceremonies
- Write high quality source code to program complete Minimal Viable Products and iterative releases within deadlines
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Be a self-starter and able to work both independently and within a team to complete assigned tasks
Skills and Education *
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline
- 3-5 years of software development experience
- Java
