Plytix is a fast-growing ecommerce tech company from Europe awarded the best place to work in Malaga, Spain, in 2021. Now we want to do the same in Nashville,
Tennessee.
We’ve learned from experience that the winning formula for a great place to work starts with the right people and the right culture. That’s why our first order of business is to hire an HR Manager. Intrigued? Great, keep reading.
The right candidate will have experience in HR and recruitment but understands that this job goes beyond the normal scope of HR. We need someone to dive in and help us establish our Plytix culture in Nashville so an entrepreneurial drive and go-getter attitude are key.
What is Plytix?
This is where you’d typically see a long paragraph of boring text that no one reads, peppered with corporate buzzwords that don’t mean anything. But Plytix is no typical company, so we’ll spare you that. Instead, watch this video, and if you like what you see, keep scrolling.
What’s the opportunity?
This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming a powerful startup from Europe into an industry-leading hyperscale. We believe that becoming the best in the industry takes great people grounded in a motivating culture, and this is your opportunity to create that. So if you’ve ever wondered what you could do if given the chance to build a team from scratch, hand-selecting the first core team that’ll go on to create an industry leader, now’s your time.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be responsible for setting up the Plytix Office in Nashville, alongside our CEO. You will be fundamental in introducing our award-winning culture to a new country, and building a team. After that, you’ll transition into a managerial role where you’ll be leading teams responsible for HR, recruitment, and culture.
During the 1st month:
You’ll spend 2-3 weeks in Malaga, Spain to get acquainted with all things Plytix. You’ll form a strong working relationship with your European counterparts, and you’ll get to know “the Plytix way” with all your colleagues. During the first month, you’ll also be doing your tour of duty in our customer success team (this is where you learn about our PIM platform). You’ll have passed the Plytix Academy Certification and be able to communicate what we do to potential new candidates.
In the first month, you’ll also work hand-in-hand with our CEO on identifying the first key hires for a preliminary expansion strategy starting in the US. There will also be some HR tasks specific to setting up shop in Nashville.
After 3 months:
You have found the perfect location for the first Plytix office in the US and signed the lease. You have successfully onboarded the first employees and set up all the required HR processes and benefits. At this point, you’re still working closely with our CEO to continue sorting out the initial processes and filling our headquarters with your talented new coworkers.
6 months in:
Processes are starting to mature, and your first key hires are starting to produce results. This is the point where you start looking at ways to scale operations in recruitment and beyond, and this is also the point where you start looking into hiring for your own team.
Who will you be working with?
Initially, you’ll be working very closely with our CEO and your European counterparts. As processes start to mature and you expand your team, you’ll broaden the people you work with on a daily basis and you’ll work independently without needing guidance from the CEO.
