As a Software Developer Associate within PNC’s organization, you will be based remotely. This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
We are looking for motivated individuals who care deeply about the quality of the products they build and use. Our team members are engineering focused and product minded – we work to create the best possible solution for our customer base and advocate for fast feedback to enable rapid change.
Quality Engineering utilizes the latest open source test automation frameworks to validate the entirety of the application stack – from infrastructure to front-end, APIs to mobile apps. We work in agile crews and DevOps environments to enable immediate feedback for product teams to make quick feature decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Core competencies:
Java knowledge, ability to create different test scenarios based on requirements, automation testing experience preferable.
Additional Skills:
Experience in Confluence and Selenium/Cucumber/Karate

Assists in the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
Assists with designing software solutions.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.

System Development Life Cycle – Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.
Technical Writing/Documentation – Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with New to PNC.
