This position is part of POET Bioproducts – the POET business responsible for the marketing and logistics for our suite of distillers grains and distillers corn oil products. It Is our role at POET Bioproducts to market and transport, as efficiently as possible, our high-quality products from our bioprocessing facilities to our valued customers who happen to be located all over the globe. We use trucks, trains, barges, containers and ocean vessels to make this happen.

• Greet all visitors courteously, determine their needs, and direct them to the proper team member and/or conference room.
• Schedule appointments, meetings and interviews as requested.
• Take ownership of front lobby, kitchen and main conference room appearances.
• Provide administrative support to the POET Bioproducts President.
• Oversee workroom and maintains inventory of supplies for company.
• Receive and sort incoming and outgoing mail from U.S. Post Office.
• Coordinate car schedules.
• Coordinate travel arrangements.
• Plan internal team member events and lunch and learns.
• Manage office supplies, equipment and promotional products inventory.
• Answer incoming calls and provide our customers with a great customer service experience.
• Support Marketing Specialist and Project Development and Communications manager with customer events and marketing needs.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• 1 or more years of previous experience in office administration required.

• Friendly, service-oriented personality.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with common word processing and spreadsheet software.
