Actively supports and upholds the City’s stated mission and values. Supervises, monitors and directs the activities and work activities of the Police Records Technicians. Assists with decision making, facilitating the dissemination of relevant information, and encouraging professional development. Provides assistance to the Police command staff through research and analysis and by performing other projects and duties as assigned.
Under supervision of the Police Support Services Manager, employees of this classification perform a wide variety of supervisory and administrative duties including supervising staff, overseeing administrative procedures, project management, professional standards and resource development, and auditing all Flagstaff Police Department entries into State and local crime databases. Work is reviewed through observation, monitoring of operations, feedback from citizens and field officers, evaluation, and analysis of reports and records.
