Warehouse/Delivery Driver

$15.50-$17.50/hr

• Must Live 35 miles within Smithfield NC
• Home Daily
• 12 Months experience in the last 3 years preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. We are seeking qualified candidates to transport tires to customers, loading and unloading the vehicle. Warehouse duties include tire inventory, able to lift 40 lbs consistently and driver readily available to deliver tires to clients and customers.

Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance, plan routes and meet delivery schedules, document and log work/rest periods and kilometer’s spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts, collect and verify delivery instructions, and report defects, accidents or violations. You will have access to a freight-liner condo, which allow you to relax, rest and change your wardrobe. Qualifications for our Truck Driver position include the following:

• Must be 21 years of age and possess a cleaning driving record
• Attempt to verify past employment on all jobs in the past 3 years
• No Accidents
• No moving violations in the last 2 years
• No serious traffic violations which include
• Reckless driving
• Following too closely
• Failing to obey a traffic control device
• Erratic driving
• Improper lane change
• Leaving the scene of accident
• Employed for at least 6 months in the past year
• Employed for at least 12 months in the past 3 years
• No felony, DUI or misdemeanor
• Must be able to pass Drug test
• Required to have a DOT Physical at Orientation if their Medical Card is over 90 days old
• Must not have been terminated from last employer for poor safety record or theft
• Must not have been terminated from more than 1 employer in 5 years for poor safety record or theft

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
