Job Description
Northern NJ Food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
The right candidate will be knowledgeable in Quickbooks Online, and possess strong data entry skills, and understand the period matching concept for accounting. Accuracy is a must.
The position will be responsible for entering Accounts Payable invoices, verifying the validity of invoices: comparing and matching to packing lists and purchase orders, daily; submit expense invoices for approval to the appropriate departments before posting,
Process payments to vendors, via check & credit card. Knowledge of Bill.com is helpful.
Distribute the new purchases orders to the receiving department daily.
Prepare monthly commission reports for outside brokers.
Maintain vendor list for monthly recurring expenses, and process payments timely. Ensure that all monthly expenses are entered for the period end.
Enter Sales Orders and Invoices daily.
Work with CFO on collections, vendor invoice coding and daily processes.
Assume Additional Responsibilities As Necessary.
5 years’ similar experience required.
