HR Manager The HR Manager will be the trusted adviser of the business by providing first line HR business partnering role to line managers and employees.
The role is supporting the delivery of business objectives by ensuring the efficient and effective operation of people management processes, practices and systems and providing robust and accurate people management advice and support in alignment with legislation, industrial instruments, government and client policies.
The successful candidate will report to COO and will work with Leadership Team members to drive strategic initiatives to attract, retain and develop talent across the world.
Further, this role will drive and support the execution of and facilitate initiatives on performance management, employee and labor relations, diversity and inclusion, change management, employee engagement, and team & leadership development.
it is expected that the incumbent will work with the COO and the Leadership team members to co-design, develop and deliver the Human Resource strategy & initiatives.
This role also delivers HR operation services such on time payroll delivery, staffing, on boarding/exits, compensation and benefits administration, training and within-country communication.
Other tasks involved in this role would be:
Assisting with the on boarding process for new hires ensuring they have all login details and a laptop and entry access to the office Managing end-to-end on-boarding and assimilation activities for all new hires.
Assisting in HR specific activities, including but not limited to ensuring that employee files and records are up to date, managing on-boarding and off-boarding administrative activities which includes .
This will involve access to handling confidential documentation.
Support managers as and when needed to ensure that performance reviews and other related key activities are completed on time Additional HR activities or ad hoc HR request from the business as and when required Analyse workforce make up and strategy as well as remuneration and benefits, policies, plans and programs to identify impact of a transaction Prepare and deliver comprehensive HR due diligence reports which quantify risks, Chat liabilities and integration challenges as well as provide technical guidance on employment related costs and opportunities for upcoming business deals Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams including Legal, Tax, Finance to deliver a sustainable business plan which is 100% compliant with employment legislation in the country/state where the new business and the employee will be operating Working with requirements on workplace relations and Workplace Health and Safety Creation of documents including contracts, policies, handbooks and procedures Building relationships and creating yourself as the subject matter expert for all things workplace relations to our employees Coach leadership and management on how to lead and direct change and demonstrate leadership behaviors required to drive desired culture Act as the custodian for the performance management process and systems in India, South East Asia and APAC region and train managers on Performance Management Process Use appropriate resourcing strategies and tools to ensure the effective attraction of high quality candidates and participate in the selection of managers and other key roles – including Sales Executives.
Establish appropriate internal and external benchmarking processes and build local input into HR and reward/benefit processes.
Help drive employee engagement by assessing country performance against the requirements of the business and facilitating action items to improve engagement levels.
Promote employee wellbeing (Wellness) so that employees remain productive and effective.
Qualifications and Experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze complex issues and recommend and implement practical solutions.
Background in Employment Law or HR focusing in Employment Relations and Work Health and Safety Formal qualifications in HR and or Industrial Relations are essential for at least 5years Experience in an autonomous role An international mindset – culturally aware, flexible and pragmatic
