To support the VP of Finance in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting/Finance Department

Position responsibilities as follows:

· Prepare and post journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

· Maintain assigned general ledger accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations.

· Prepare documentation and assist with internal and external audits.

· Perform month-end close procedures and meet all deadlines

· Assists with the preparation of internal financial reports and forecasts

· Assures internal controls are defined, current, and adequate.

· Assures that the assigned day-to-day operations are carried out in accordance with established accounting principles, policies, and objectives.

· Interprets and points out trends or deviations from standards.

· Must establish and maintain work relationships with all levels through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

· Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

· Ad Hoc analyses as needed.

· Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

· Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be assigned.

· Ability to act as project manager for special projects.

· Provides financial analysis, planning and budget control.

Education or Equivalent (any of these may apply):

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar concentration.

· A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required, with accounting in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

· CPA or MBA preferred.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

· Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions is desired.

· Must be detail oriented.

· Must be skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets and ERP Systems.

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.

Physical Requirements:

· Position contingent on passing all applicable fit for duty requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
