Role Summary

The Sales and Marketing Lead is a key contributor to business development in the region. This person leads sales efforts, marketing initiatives, and learning management system (LMS) content generation with the support of subject matter experts. By developing and executing lead generation activities and coordinating regional business development efforts, the Sales and Marketing Lead helps drive the company’s growth in sales, revenue, and business capabilities. This role reports to the Managing Director of North America but is also actively engaged with the global Sales and Marketing team, General Managers, and Account Managers.

We have multiple offices around the United States and Canada and also have a history of working in a distributed fashion for years; we are open to remote work for the right candidate.

Essential Responsibilities

Accounts

• Assist Account Managers with pre-sales and post-sales activities such as supplier qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and communicating with clients
• Assist sales lead generation activities and maintain a database of qualified sales leads
• Assist in the identification and recognition of new business development opportunities
• Manage Strategic Account Program

Proposal Management

• Lead PSC proposal process including Go/No-Go, Risk Assessment, proposal strategy development
• Lead supplier qualification process and response to RFQs, RFIs
• Responsible for proposal requirements analysis, schedule adherence, quality, and final delivery to the client
• Develop and manage proposal project plan where necessary
• Identify, coordinate, and draft proposals, communicating across teams to get input and meet deadlines
• Coordinate and contribute to existing PSC content library for use in proposals
• Organize and facilitate kick-offs, work sessions, and team/partner calls
• Coordinate and maintain team documentation for responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
• Liaise with procurement to drive through the proposal process
• Manage SharePoint proposal library

Sales Administration

• Facilitate Sales Review Meetings, including agenda management
• Develop and maintain the CRM including dashboards, reports, accounts, deals, contacts

Marketing

• Improve PSC NA industry profile by finding and executing on organic and paid opportunities to increase brand presence and diversify lead generation
• Think strategically and tactically, balancing incorporating strategic messaging while also implementing the details of execution
• Collaborate closely and effectively with PSC’s Senior Global Marketing Manager, SMEs, and consultants to develop compelling, original articles, thought leadership pieces, white papers and other marketing communications tuned for PSC’s target audiences via various communications channels
• Develop NA event plan and lead virtual and in-person execution via PSC’s conference playbook
• Responsible for lead generation via tender alert subscriptions, conferences, and inbound inquiries
• Communicate directly with prospects to progress opportunities as well as assist consultants with generating and nurturing leads

Other

• Partner with subject matter experts to develop and deliver training courses in our Learning Management System
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
• Minimum of two (2) years of bids/proposals coordination or management experience, with an understanding of sales and marketing principles, in professional services or energy environment
• Working knowledge of CRM tools (SalesForce, HubSpot), and Microsoft Office suite
• Legally authorized to work in the US with no restrictions on travel between Canada and the US

• Solid collaboration skills to build and foster working relationships with internal and external clients
• Time management skills; pivot to keep pace with fluid priorities while managing multiple and complex priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
