We are currently seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager – Infrastructure for a post-acquisition, infrastructure integration project an international market research and consumer data analytics client.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the development of IT network and infrastructure strategies in collaboration with the executive team.
• Project manage the successful delivery of a critical infrastructure implementation and network upgrade and direct the activities of a team of network specialists to design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain network capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization’s network.
• Provide consultative guidance to the Integration Team and key stakeholders around IT infrastructure due diligence, best practices, requirement gathering, and integration options.
• Work with Project Sponsor and Business Executives to define project scope and objectives and develop milestone schedules.
• Perform project planning and scoping activities to achieve client goals within the expected timelines.
• As needed, prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts.
• Experience working with Network Services and Data Center managers and their teams.
• Previous experience with new or upgraded wiring, network speed and assessment, infrastructure architecture, switches, and racks.
• Inventory current technology and develop plan to convert / transform the “as is” to “to be” state. Document both business and technical infrastructure requirements.
• Guide key IT technical teams in the development of technical requirements and solutions.
• Manage project work plans, revising them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Negotiate and/or develop Transition Service Agreements (TSAs), as needed.
• Maintain accurate reporting of the project schedule and status (relative to time, cost, budget, and scope).
• Ensure that financial and schedule commitments are documented and communicated to Stakeholders and the project team.
• Publish weekly status reports.
• Facilitate project status meetings and key stakeholder reviews.
• Understand project escalations paths and proactively and effectively log / track / communicate Issues (escalate), risks (mitigate), assumptions (clarify), actions (track to closure), decisions (help arrive at & communicate).
• Provide leadership to diagnose and overcome barriers to team/project progress.
• Execute implementation plan and monitor progress, perform project review.
• Determine resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering or related field, Masters preferred in related discipline.
• 15+ years of IT infrastructure management experience with at least 5 years in an IT infrastructure leadership role.
• Prior experience with acquisition integrations would be a plus.
• Experience in multi-country and multi-company environment is required.
• Broad knowledge of available commercial-off-the-shelf software solutions, tools, technical standards, and integration techniques.
• Experience in integrating/migrating MS 365 Tenants.
• Working knowledge of hosting, networking, telecommunications, ERP, collaboration, and other enterprise technical infrastructure required.
• Thorough knowledge of network, telecommunications, collaboration, client, server, storage, network, security, database and Web technologies is required.
• Experience in Public Cloud Hosting migrations is required, Azure experience a plus.
• Experience working with a central PMO.
• Experience in data center consolidations and cloud migration planning.
• Experience with Microsoft project, Outlook, SharePoint, and Office tools required.
• PMI or PMP certification a plus.
• ITIL V3 Foundation certification a plus.
• Excellent relationship, interpersonal, influencing, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• Is comfortable dealing with ambiguity and possesses high tolerance for risk.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior company leaders.
• Must be organized and able to utilize time accordingly.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and to establish and follow priorities.
