Precast Specialties, LLC is a superior manufacturer of precast concrete products, and specialty construction parts. We are an integral member of the Quantum Construction, LLC family of companies, and one of their two Florida based manufacturing companies.
We are currently seeking an individual to join our Fort Pierce team in the position of a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with diesel experience. The primary responsibility of this individual would be to complete maintenance and repair of heavy equipment. Inclusive of performing the essential duties listed below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain company equipment such as, but not limited to cranes, pettie bones, loaders, rough terrain forklifts, travel lifts, excavators, skid steers and similar equipment.
- Installation of hydraulic hoses and pumps, injectors, head gaskets, excavator drive couplers, R&R diagnosing and wire issues.
- Overhaul hydraulic and diesel engines.
- Organizing work tickets and paperwork. Completing parts purchase orders.
- Other duties not listed may be required.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities
- Prior experience with equipment listed required.
- Mechanical Skills
- Individual must have ability to work at high levels in high lifts.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in order to reference and complete service work orders.
- Attention to detail, ability to work independently.
Additional Requirements
- Applicant must have their own tools.
- Experienced with the use of industry tools required to complete servicing and repair orders.
- Ability to interpret equipment and vehicle schematics for servicing and repair.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position, hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Overtime when requested will be mandatory.
