Position Supervises: Talent Acquisition Specialists
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for all aspects related to the recruiting process and related strategic initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with Human Resource Business Partners and respective hiring managers to successfully recruit top talent. Utilize proactive recruiting techniques, facilitate the interview process, and ensure a successful on-boarding experience, while continuing to maintain a diverse pipeline of candidates and stay in alignment with the time to fill expectations. Demonstrate and implement our Trusted Advisor strategy to all internal and external customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement recruitment strategies in order to effectively manage the talent acquisition and hiring process.
* Utilize proactive recruiting techniques, including direct soliciting, LinkedIn and attend job/career fairs to build a diverse and attractive pool of top talent
* Initiate the interview process and follow through to ensure appropriate hires are completed.
* Proactively build and maintain a relevant talent pipeline
* Build relationships and network including and not limited to colleges and social media
* Interact with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a successful on-boarding experience.
* Ensures managers and employees are informed of HR related Company objectives, programs, policies and procedures
* Post position opportunities on the company website and any other applicable sites to source candidates.
* Maintain information in Ultipro Recruitment, applicant tracking system
* Complete all pre-employment tasks required prior to extending an offer.
* Maintain collaborative partnerships with leaders in markets/departments directly supported
* Ensures all human resource, including payroll, files, reports and records are completed, maintained and preserved in accordance with established company policies and state and federal regulations
* Coordinate and maintain the Employee Referral Program
* Support all recruiting events as needed.
* Support other HR activities/projects as needed
* Travel as needed for company meetings or in person interviews
* Completes other duties as assigned
Position may work within our footprint.
Education, Certification, License and Experience:
* High School graduate or equivalent.
* Associate degree or work equivalent in Human Resources, including talent acquisition is strongly preferred
* One to three years’ experience in Human Resources.
* Three to five years’ experience in a recruiting capacity, with proven ability to build a diverse pipeline of candidates and emphasis on behavioral interviewing techniques required

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
* Highly organized with strong follow up skills and ability to multi-task
* Professional appearance, dress, and behaviors
* Problem solving, critical thinking and negotiating skills
* Success in a competing deadline environment
* Thorough knowledge of human resource procedures, policies, federal/state laws and regulations, corporate policy, and employee benefit programs.
* Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering rules, Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and other laws and regulations as they pertain to the position.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear, stand or sit for long periods of time, open filing cabinets, walk, stoop or bend, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and complete tasks requiring manual dexterity. Ability to drive a vehicle for travel is required for the position.
