Special Education Teacher – 2021 – 2022 School Year
The Preparatory Charter High School is a tuition-free, college preparatory schooling option for Philadelphia students in grades nine through twelve. -PA Special Education Certification K-12 or 9 – 12.
-Experience teaching successfully in an urban setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Serve as a resource to classroom teachers to help IEP students achieve academically in the classroom.
B. Advocate for the needs of the Special Education students.
C. Case manager of approximately 15 – 20 students.
D. Maintain accurate and compliant IEP’s and communicate ongoing with the IEP team.
E. Participate in ongoing professional development including Sped staff meetings.
F. Lead IEP meetings with the LEA and the IEP team.
G. Engage families in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication..
H. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required with a record of personal, professional, and/or academic achievement.
PA Secondary Special Education Certification
Competative salary based on certifications and years of experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Prep Charter will reopen in Sept. to a normal, in building schedule
