Billing Specialists
MUST HAVE LONG TERM CARE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!
We are seeking two positions for an experienced Billing Specialist to support 2 sites in their Senior Care Division, Laurel Ridge Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center and Presentation Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center
The Specialist will be responsible for working with Admissions, Business Office staff, and Case Management to identify potential applicants in need of Medicaid coverage. The Specialists will work with applicants
to complete all new Long Term Care applications and supplemental forms, as well as conversion applications, and yearly eligibility reviews. As part of this process they will compile all required financial documents and review for completeness prior to submission of the application. The Specialist will be responsible to monitor and follow up on all pending, approved, denied, and appealed applications as needed to ensure proper coverage is obtained. In addition, the Specialists will submit all status change forms to the Medicaid Office for coding, and maintain various tracking logs related to applications and subsequent reimbursement. The Specialists will also be responsible for monthly billing of all Medicaid claims and related cash postings.
The ideal candidates would have 3-5 years of experience in a skilled nursing setting and a solid understanding of the Mass Health Long Term Care eligibility requirements. The candidates must be very detail oriented, have good time management skills, and the ability to multitask. This is a full time 40 hr./week position with a competitive salary and benefit package.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
