SUMMARY
Founded in 1975 as a family-owned business on the Eastern Shore, the Preston Automotive Group has grown to serve customers nationwide, offering the very best in both sales and service. Starting with the Ford store in Preston Maryland, we have grown to represent Hyundai, Mazda, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Nissan, Chevrolet, Lincoln, and Genesis. The Preston Automotive Group is in search of an additional Content Creator to aid in the service of all marketing efforts across our stores alongside the Production Director.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write scripts for both broadcast and social media use
- Submit scripts for manufacturer approval and correction
- Work with store specific talent to record audio and video content for TV, OTT, radio, podcasts and various platforms.
- Travel to location to record content for promotional campaigns
- Edit both video and audio content using Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Work with high-profile talent in contracted branding
- Be responsible for projects from concept to final product
- Post, list and upload content to various social media and commercial platforms with appropriate metadata (tags, titles, description etc.)
- Operate and maintain drones for commercial use (licensing will be provided and required)
- Operate and maintain video and audio equipment
- Operate and maintain greenscreen studio space and equipment
- Livestream marketing events using live-broadcast switcher, audio deck, OBS and studio cameras
- Report all projects to the Production Director before submitting or postings
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snap Chat, YouTube, Twitter)
- Familiarity with Mac OS and Windows Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Portfolio of relevant video and audio work
- Must be a self-starter

- Must bring a creative sensibility to all aspects of video and audio production
- Proficiency with DSLR camera operation (Canon, Nikon, BlackMagic)
- Proficiency with audio recording and monitoring
- Must have good organizational skills and work well with little supervision
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Willing to perform other duties assigned by supervisor and/or managers
- Ability to work additional weekends and evenings as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour
