• Encourage healthy eating habits through the preparation of delicious and nutritious foods.
• Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
• Take responsibility menu planning, placing food orders, inventory management and maintaining a clean and healthy kitchen environment.
• Support other school housekeeping needs as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must meet basic requirements of the EEC background record check process
• Ability to relate positively to young children is essential
• Prior experience in quantity food preparation and working in a kitchen environment
• Kitchen certifications (Serv Safe, Allergen Awareness) a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
