The Prince William Area Agency on Aging is committed to providing positive, engaging, and entertaining programing for the active older adult community and we are seeking to fill a position within the Fiscal & Administration Division, serving the business needs of the Agency. ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Area Agency on Aging serves active older adults in the community and this position helps make that all possible by working within a team to ensure all business, accounting, and data entry functions are managed and completed timely and accurately.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 3 years of related experience.
PREFERENCES:
Preferences include superior organizational skills, base knowledge of accounts payable and payroll, an affinity for serving the older adult population, and the ability to work cohesively within a team of professionals.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Generally, Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5pm
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background check
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $25.88 – $32.35 Hourly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
