Pro-Craft Construction, Inc. has an opportunity for a Construction Project Engineer to join our team. Pro-Craft is a fast-growing public works plumbing, pipeline, and utility contractor in Southern California. We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual that has strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Coordinate the collection & dissemination of project documentation between internal and external customers, contractors, subcontractors, and providers.
• Review and monitor project progress to assure continuing quality and adherence to requirements /specifications of contract documents, including visual inspection of project materials and equipment.
• Monitor, track, and trend (in support of Project Manager) project costs to achieve an “in budget” result.
• Specifications, submittals, RFIs, project plans, as-built documents, close-out documents review, compilation, tracking, collaboration, and filing.
• Assist in the preparation, management, or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, permits, and designs.
• Resolves technical issues with general contractor, project architect or civil engineer under the direction of the project management team. -. Includes contract preparation, all related construction documentation, inclusive of plans, specifications, submittals, RFI’s, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Our ideal candidate would have the ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
• Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam
• Typing speed of 30 w.p.m.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented
