We’re looking for a staff accountant for this growing business. This opportunity will be part-time initially at about 30 hours per week.
This person needs to have experience with QuickBooks Online. We use a variety of tech applications, so technology skills are imperative.
This person is expected to have a willingness to learn, accept new challenges, and desire to help others. This opportunity will have a high level of autonomy so integrity, great communication skills, and confidence are expected. A growth mindset is critical to this opportunity.
In addition to building your skillset, you will also be exposed to business coaching and encouraged to pursue a heightened sense of personal growth.
There is also an opportunity for bonuses for client acquisition and high growth potential.
This is a contract position.
Compensation:
$25 – $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Processing and remitting sales tax returns
- Processing AP and payroll
- Processing personal and business tax returns (1040, 1120S, 1065, 1120)
- Performing accounting for a variety of companies across a variety of industries
- Financial statement close
- Developing SOP’s
- Overseeing incoming messages from clients via our client management system
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with QuickBooks Online
- Must have tax preparation experience
- Minimum of bachelor’s in Accounting
- Tech-savvy
- Capable of remote work with proof
- Growth mindset
- High level of communication
- Must be on eastern or central standard time
- Organizational skills
