POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Support position has responsibility for supporting the efforts of the Sales Department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school degree or equivalent.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate quotations for sales inquiries. Some direct customer interaction, and filtering
• CRM (Salesforce) administration

• Maintain inventory of marketing/sales support materials
• Write technical articles to be published in trade magazines and blogs
• Ability to learn and understand the basics of electroplating
• Work with the sales team with customer interaction. Compose and reply to customers questions and feedback per the request of the account owner. This might include no quotes, initial responses, and customer follow ups.
• Oversee the sale, lead time, and payment on won transactional jobs.
• Send NDAs and credit apps where needed.
• Work with the sales team to help manage data entry into Salesforce and access.

TRADE SHOW MANAGEMENT:

• Organize trade show programs and materials. Coordinate travel and related activities.
• Handle logistics of shipping materials within plant. Maintain sample inventory.

ESTIMATOR:

• Produce estimates that will require customer approval while maintaining the required profit margins.
• Has the ability to finalize estimates with the appropriate parties as needed.
• Manage financial aspects of the project, including budgeting and purchasing
• Responsible for producing work orders for sub-contractors
• Comfortable with daily reporting and inputting project progress information into project management software

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical writing experience
• Self-motivated, takes initiative
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, communicate proactively, manage several projects simultaneously, and prioritize appropriately with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
• Expertise in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
• Strong algebra and geometry knowledge
• Possess working knowledge of Word, or Word Perfect, Excel, or Lotus, and Microsoft Outlook.
• A desire for long term employment. Stable, long term work history preferred
• LANGUAGE SKILLS Has the ability to read and interpret documents and engineering drawings. Has the ability to write reports and correspondence. Has the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.

• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Has the ability to work with mathematical concepts and to solve mathematical equations as related to job position. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• REASONING ABILITY Show the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Has the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus (computer screen, microscope).

Pay: $37,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
