The Role
Our dynamic and energetic Call Center Trainer is integral to the success of our team in Operations. Supporting the success of both new hires and existing team members, they lead an engaging learning environment that instils Prosper core values while building relationships with cross functional teams for development opportunities. The Call Center Trainer is instrumental in helping grow the learner’s confidence, provide coaching and feedback to learners and partner with management on any identified opportunities for improvement.
Problems You Will Solve
Lead classroom trainings of Prosper team members in Operations
Facilitate training classes for new and existing employees in Phoenix and at partner sites
Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods; provide insight into areas of opportunity
Utilize best instructional method for each situation such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops
Perform train the trainer sessions with partners and check for quality/consistency with training
Training & Content Development
Master policies and procedures relevant to material being trained
Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to enhance existing materials or to create new content
Ensure existing and newly developed training programs remain relevant, vibrant, and entertaining for continuous trainee engagement
Develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, tutorials, quizzes, and reference works
Build partnerships with cross-functional teams
Develop strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback
Confer with management, supervisors and employees to identify work situations requiring training
Consult individuals across the organization to ensure understanding of changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies
About You
A passion for learning and a desire to help others develop in their work roles
The ability to tell a compelling story through presentations and other forms of media
Facilitation of corporate classroom training or other relevant experience
Capacity to learn complex processes and utilize references
Some travel required to partner sites (up to 35%)
Passport may be required
Preferred attributes
Experience working in call center operations, loan processing, underwriting, or general loan operations for 2+ years
Consumer Financial Services industry experience
BA/BS degree in Learning & Development, teaching or relevant field
