MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATORDES MOINES, IAProteus, a non-profit organization that assists migratory and seasonal agricultural workers with health care access / services and job training, is currently seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing, editing, and distributing communications and marketing related materials to the external community in multiple mediums, including but not limited to, social media, website, other digital platforms, and print. The Coordinator will also assist with coordinating board meetings along with related communications and to the Director of Development. This position will be based out of the Des Moines, Iowa office. A hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, is an option. This position will not be fully remote.Qualified candidates should have: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Journalism, or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of one year of experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations. Experience with website development, social media management, print collateral and content creation including the use of data analytics tools. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite and other marketing/communications software. Bilingual ability in English/Spanish. Community engagement experience preferred. Must have strong skills related to project coordination & administration, technical writing, problem solving, and attention to detail. Must show a strong customer service orientation with a propensity for being creative and innovative.
