Operations & Logistics Manager

PRx Performance is a leader in the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of a broad range of fitness equipment with a strong reputation of quality and customer service. We’re seeking an independent, strategic, organized, detailed, and energetic person to join our talented and customer-focused team. PRx is based in Fargo, North Dakota.

Position Summary:
Seeking a strategic thinking, organized, and detailed individual to oversee warehouse operations, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, inventory, and shipping services; overseeing, developing and leading warehouse staff while working closely with executive management to implement and measure key initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve operational efficiencies
• Oversee receiving, assembly, warehousing, safety, logistics, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision
• Oversee warehouse while planning and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
• Oversee warehouse staff and when necessary aid in recruitment, selection, orientation, and training employees
• Oversee warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Implementation of strategic and operational initiatives including 5S
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
• Be open and transparent in communication; not afraid of having tough conversations
• Additional duties as necessary

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Five (5)+ years experience in Warehouse Operations Management
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
• Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics/KPIs
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Adept at decision making and problem solving both independently and collaboratively
• Advanced knowledge of Inventory Management and Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to determine root causes, develop creative solutions, and craft concise messages
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and have the ability to learn our current software in extreme detail
• Knowledge of CrossFit or Weight Training a plus
