Description

• Performing the functions of each position throughout the department whenever an associate is on vacation, holiday exchange, sick, etc as requested by manager
• Performing the functions of any position during unplanned absences and helping relieve associates for breaks and lunches
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Keeping updated on any changes to procedures and practices related to all department positions in the plant
• Performing the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities of the Department Manager and/or Utility Trainer during vacations and other absences
• Serving as a positive role model for all associates, developing in depth knowledge of entire plant operations
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Must demonstrate safe working habits
• Must be able to work at heights above 25 feet while standing on ladders, inside high-lifts and/or on catwalks
• Must be able to work with chemicals and industrial cleaners
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
• Must obtain license and operate forklift
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
• Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• Must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and

5:00am – 1:30pm
2:00pm – 10:30pm or
10:00pm – 6:30am
