Job Description
YOUR MISSION
– The Research and Development Intern will assist the team with a variety of Industrial Design tasks including artwork, renderings, sketches.
– The work will include interfacing with management, industrial designers, engineers, and technicians to ensure their work will satisfy the design, development and general company needs for creative and reliable teamwork.
– This internship will be exposed to the day to day workings of the overall Design group and have the opportunity to work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Engineering, CAD, – Development, Research, and Innovation.
– Additional responsibilities to include assisting with product research and inspiration and product testing and measurements.
– This internship will last from June through August
YOUR TALENT
– Current college enrollment in Industrial Design or Product Design
– Adobe Illustrator knowledge and ability to use
– Adobe Photoshop knowledge and ability to use
– Ability to create concept sketches and renderings
– Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) in an office
– CAD knowledge a bonus
– Strong creative, problem solving and analytical skills
– Detail oriented and ability to work in a team
– Excellent communication skills
The pay rate for this internship will be $20.00 per hour.
