Position: Senior Front-end Developer – Healthcare SaaS Startup, Contractor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly-skilled and motivated Senior Front-end Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in front-end development, with a passion for creating intuitive and visually-appealing user interfaces. This is a contract position with hourly compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for our web-based healthcare applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and other front-end technologies.
• Work closely with our product and design teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Conduct regular code reviews and contribute to our continuous integration and delivery process.
• Collaborate with our back-end development team to develop front-end features that seamlessly integrate with back-end functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development, and proactively identify opportunities to improve our development processes and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end web development.
• Comfortable with Linux, git, and terminal-based editors such as vim, emacs.
• Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Experience with jQuery, flutter, dart; knowledge of back-end development technologies such as Django or flask is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team environment,
• Experience in healthcare software development and familiarity with HIPAA compliance is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
