The Global Compensation Lead is part of the Human Resources global organization and reports to the Head of Total Rewards and HR Operations. The position is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing development of the company’s global compensation related programs including base pay, short and long term incentives, sales compensation, other variable pay programs, and equity in coordination with the wider Human Resources organization and cross-functional business leaders.

What will you do?

• Manage and own global Compensation Broad Based programs including leader and employee education, incentive structure design and execution, recognition programs, and job framework alignment
• Design and rollout global initiatives around compensation; phase by phase depending on scope
• Conduct both individual and large-scale equity reviews relative to market data and performance management, recommending appropriate job level, base and incentive compensation.
• Own and drive the use of market data as a fundamental part of Compensation Philosophy, including education with the Global Senior Leadership (GSL).
• Develop standardized tools, dashboards, and processes in order to deliver a consistent global Compensation service offering to all parts of the business.
• Submit, analyze and consult on market data salary surveys. Analyze results and produce reports with summarized findings and recommendations across multiple countries.
• Evaluate job profiles by reviewing descriptions, analyzing best practices and benchmarking data both internally and externally. Align QH’s job evaluation methodology with the market while ensuring positions are internally equitable.
• Help develop training and communications programs to promote new or revised compensation plans to the organization.
• Support compensation committee and executive compensation material preparation.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on all Compensation policies. Provide recommendations to the business including HR on current trends and best practices.
• Participate in special projects such as reorganizations, acquisitions, global increase processes, etc.

What do we look for?

• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.
• 5-8 years’ experience with the analysis and administration of compensation programs ideally including sales compensation; costing and administering organization wide pay changes utilizing market data.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft office applications (PowerPoint, outlook etc.) with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong presentation and training ability
• High level of data modelling and analysis knowledge
• Track record of process improvement.

• Knowledge and development of compensation tools, programs and practices
• High level of confidentiality, discretion, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.

• Knowledge of pertinent law and regulations such as Civil Rights Act, Equal Pay Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and personnel administration theories and practices.
• Experience with conducting studies and preparing sound recommendations with justifiable rationale.
• Experience with analyzing and interpreting policies, practices and procedures.
• Experience with preparing written reports for varied audiences.
• Experience with conducting research, analyzing information and data and presenting findings in a concise format.
