Job Summary
The Worldwide Sales Leader, Global Account Management will be responsible for managing and growing revenue with a large strategic account. This person will work closely with colleagues around the world and be responsible for creating the strategy and execution for driving the sale of Qualcomm products into mobile, compute and smart device business (IoT) groups.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will build and manage relationships at all levels around the world. He or she will interface with product planning, engineering development, procurement and supply chain teams to sell Qualcomm products. The Worldwide Sales Leader, Global Account Management will work closely with the technical and product teams in Qualcomm headquarters as well as teams in Taiwan and China. Key responsibilities include introducing and selling Qualcomm’s portfolio of products to PC OEM’s mobile, compute, and smart devices (IoT) groups and gaining regional assortment globally across AMS, EMEA, & APAC.
The ideal candidate for this Worldwide Sales Leader, Global Account Management leadership role will have had extensive experience in developing relationships at large, complex organizations globally. She or he will have managed to sales targets and goals. Experience in selling components to PC OEM, infrastructure, and tablet customers and the understanding of the complexity of the compute and cellular industry are required. The understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience are critical.
