Our client is a logistics service located in Bibb County and is looking for career-minded people to join their team. All positions are temp to perm with the opportunity for gjobth.
We have several positions available :
- pickers/ packers
- unloaders
- forklift/ cherry pickers
- inventory
*Warehouse experience is preferred*
Responsibilities:
- Receipt/inspection of incoming materials
- Load/unloading of trucks
- Order picking
- Accurate verification of all counts, quantities, and descriptions of products and materials shipped and received
- Report/Track damages of orders received
- data entry
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse
- Inventory control
- Check packaging and labeling of finished goods
- Manual inspection of incoming goods/Proper storage
Requirements:
- High School/G.E.D.
- Able to transport up to 20 lbs. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Forklift/Scissor lift and/or Boom lift preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Monday – Friday * some overtime may be required*
1st and 2nd shift
