Quality Behavioral Health is looking to enhance our crisis team! We are looking for a Crisis Therapist(s) to provide several shift options in on-call crisis services.If you are a Mental Health Therapist who currently looking to make extra cash, has (or has the ability to obtain) your DCR (Designated Crisis Responder) status this could be the perfect job for you. QBH is open to discussing multiple schedule options that would help us strengthen our current DCR team, and allow a back-up crisis responder the ability to earn extra cash. Current full time Crisis Responders work two 24 hour shifts per week, and we are looking for back-up responders for times that the regular responders can not make a shift due to various reasons (i.e. sick, vacation, bereavement, etc.)This position includes the following;Rapid response, assessment services, crisis intervention, engagement, supportive counseling, information and referral, assistance with Medicaid enrollment as appropriate, linkage to requested/necessary resources and appropriate community-based mental health and substance abuse disorder services for ongoing treatment and follow-up.Crisis services are provided to adults, children and families under the supervision of the Crisis Program Manager and in accordance with agency specific standardsOther duties include, completing clinical and billing documentation, attend multi-disciplinary and supervisory meetings and work cooperatively with all agency staff to ensure clients receive appropriate care.The primary goals of the QBH crisis team is to divert individuals from involuntary psychiatric treatment. The Team serves individuals throughout the community and work collaboratively with law enforcement, emergency departments and the legal system.All applicants must have a Master’s Degree, and ability to obtain DCR status through training and shadowing.
