Job Opportunity : Quality Inspector

A client of ours located in Canby is looking for a Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate will have prior inspection experience in manufacturing and the ability to use a microscope.

About the Company : This company has been a pioneer in integrated design and manufacturing since 1954. Their expertise spans from printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) to electronic design and beyond.

Permanent hire chance post-contract hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of non-rework electronic components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
• Follow appropriate quality policies and procedures.
• Inspect product based on customer requirements via provided documentation, as directed by Team Leader / Supervisor.
• Record Pass / Fail / Reject parts into a Daily Inspection Sheet / Tablet / MES (Mfg. Enterprise Software).
• Provide feedback to production personnel / Assemblers regarding the types of defects found during inspection.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.
• Must provide input to problem-solving process and possess good communication skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.
• Able to understand and determine product quality to written documentation.
• Able to perform basic data entry transactions

Schedule : Thursday – Saturday, 5AM – 5PM

Pay : $19 / hr.
