The Human Resources Coordinator provides high-quality administrative and analytical services with an emphasis on records management, employee safety, Benefits and HRIS/payroll coordination and administration. This is a hybrid position that will allow you to work from home, however you will be required to come into the office on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
Onboarding/Exit: Works with the HR team to create a positive onboarding experience for newly hired employees. Processes new hire paperwork systems quickly and accurately. Distributes ID badges. Performs I-9 verification using E-Verify. Maintains and distributes Employee Flow Sheet tracking incoming/departing employees. Creates and sends termination packet. Terminates enrollment in health, flex, and disability policies.
Benefits: Contact for employees on benefits questions. Researches answers and helps educate employees on benefit plans. Acts as an advocate for employees.
Reception Support: Provides reception desk support as needed. Responsibilities include answering and appropriately routing multi-line phone inquiries, and screening/greeting visitors.
Records Management: Ensures HR records reflect thorough and complete onboarding of new employees, and ongoing records management for all employees, including training, policy and practice acknowledgements. Safeguards HR records and ensures they are secured. Creates and maintains employee electronic personnel files. Maintains all employee-related records, including I-9s, L&I claims, unemployment claims, benefits/retirement documentation, certification/registration/license, etc.
Education & Experience
2 years’ experience in an HR administrative role preferred.
AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Evidence of continuing education in human resources, quality, process management, or related field.
