Radisys Hiring for Staff Accountant – Compliance & Reporting Job at Remote Full Time

Radisys is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role will work closely with the Assistant Controller to help with financial reporting, technical accounting and compliance tasks for the organization. The ideal candidate is a driven problem solver, able to communicate technical accounting in an understandable way, while being able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of the financial reports for internal and external parties
• Assist in the documentation of risk, processes, policies, and controls
• Help test the proper compliance of processes, policies, and controls
• Help track compliance items across all subsidiaries. Work with in-country experts to ensure timely execution of the statutory requirements.
• Maintain key accounting documentation
• Partner with parent company and auditors to ensure they have access to compliance documents
• Work closely with the Company’s auditors and other service providers regarding technical accounting matters
• Review and suggest areas of improvement in process, policy and internal control
• Help review key accounting risks and ways to mitigate those risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license or actively working on CPA license
• 2+ years related public accounting experience
• IFRS experience a plus
• Ability to continually reassess and identify process improvements, flexible mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to write technical accounting memos
• Demonstrates attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Proficient with MS Office tools
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment
