Recruiting from Scratch is a premier talent firm that focuses on placing the best product managers, software, and hardware talent at innovative companies. Our team is 100% remote and we work with teams across the United States to help them hire. We work with companies funded by the best investors including Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Tiger Global Management, A16Z, Accel, DFJ, and more.
Our team has grown exponentially this year, and we are looking for our first strategic account manager to join the team. We work with our clients on a contingent and retained basis hiring software, hardware, and product managers.
In this role, you will work directly with the Head of Talent and help manage our current accounts/clients. Renegotiate contracts, confirm payments(payables received), and fill open roles
You will be a great fit for this role if you have a passion for building and maintaining relationships, enjoy building from the ground up, and have an obsessive attention to detail. You will help find new opportunities for our team in order to help our talent team find new and additional contingent and retained searches. You will make a huge impact in building out our sales and account management function from scratch.
The Role:
- Handle and own all account management in the Recruiting from Scratch organization
- Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires
- Work closely with the recruiting team to help build and grow client relationships
- Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
- Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new requisitions
- Help onboarding new clients by working with the sales team to ensure that intake meetings are set up and jobs are assigned correctly
- Work closely with the talent team to ensure that all job information is accurate for our talent team
What skills you possess:
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience preferably. in the staffing industry
- An interest in growing your network and relationships in the startup and tech
- You have a passion for working in the staffing and recruiting industry
- You have great attention to detail and never forget to update the CRM and ATS
- You enjoy building and maintaining relationships
- You want to grow your career in the staffing and tech industry
Preferred Skills:
- A deep understanding of the recruiting industry and contingent search
- An understanding of product management, software engineering, hardware engineering, and product design hiring
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate workflow ideas to clients
- Up-to-date understanding of the industry’s consumer behavior
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of clients and personalities

Salary Range for this role is: $50,000 to $85,000 depending on experience and location.
