Our team is 100% remote and we work with teams across the United States to help them hire. We work with companies funded by the best investors including Sequoia Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Tiger Global Management, A16Z, Accel, DFJ, and more.

Our team has grown exponentially this year, and we are looking for our first strategic account manager to join the team. We work with our clients on a contingent and retained basis hiring software, hardware, and product managers.
This role starts as a paid 1099 contract role that will grow into a full-time with commission after 3 months.
In this role, you will work directly with the CEO and help take on new business and our current accounts. You will be a great fit for this role if you have a passion for building and maintaining relationships, enjoy building from the ground up, and have an obsessive attention to detail. You will help find new opportunities for our team in order to help our talent team find new and additional contingent and retained searches. You will make a huge impact in building out our sales and account management function from scratch.
The Role:

• Handle and own all account management in the Recruiting from Scratch organization

• Build out our sales funnel with cold direct outreach to new potential clients

• Work closely with the recruiting team to help build and grow client relationships

• Work with our CEO to help with cold outreach, setting up meetings, and initial client prospecting

• Attend networking events, startup events, and build relationships in new channels

What skills you possess:

• 1+ year of sales or account management experience pref. in staffing

• An interest in growing your network and relationships in the startup and tech

• You have a passion for working in the staffing and recruiting industry

• You have great attention to detail and never forget to update the CRM

• You enjoy building sales pipelines and hopping on meetings with potential clients

• You want to grow your career in the staffing and tech industry

Preferred Skills:

• A deep understanding of the recruiting industry and contingent search

• An understanding of product management, software engineering, and hardware engineering hiring
