As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Junior Accountant who will be responsible for supporting the Senior Accountant/Controller while being responsible for the organization’s property tax filings. This position processes bi-weekly payroll. - All balance sheet accounts
- Review and approving AP invoice coding
- Maintaining pre-paid schedules
- Maintain accrual schedules
- Job budget maintenance
- Payroll accruals
- Assist with Datawatch, Admiral and/or Red Coats month-end close
- Financial reporting and Budgeting
- 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Accounting including GL and payroll.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as evidenced by preparing reports and preparing and presenting information to clients.
- General ledgers experience a must-have skill set.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines, working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from the manager to accomplish objectives.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook and Excel)
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
