To keep pace, we need a sharp, driven Logistics Manager based in San Francisco, to build our relationships with our fulfillers and shippers to optimize for speed, quality, capacity and experience. Your ultimate goal is to drive an amazing delivery experience for Redbubble buyers. Your work helps artists sell more and earn more because their product will get to the customer by the most efficient means possible.
What you’ll do:
You will oversee Global Logistics Operations
You will improve carrier performance, business process and transportation costs
You will source, negotiate, and engage with Domestic and International shipping carriers
You will liaise with print fulfillers with the commodity managers (apparel, wall art, housewares), quality manager, and with our Product Team
You will develop and implement new processes for transportation efficiencies
You will develop, maintain and document all high-level global transportation processes and policies
You will help build metrics and KPI’s to drive carrier cost savings and service improvements
What you bring:
Demonstrated experience with small parcels and drop-ship postal logistics
Deep Analytical Capacity — you know your way around pivot tables and can easily build, read and explain metrics and KPIS
Experience with rapid shipping cycles at a fast-paced e-commerce organization
Ability to travel (around 10-20% in peak periods when deemed safe to do so )
Awareness or experience with print-on-demand (desirable)
