Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington Hiring for Maintenance Person at California, PA Full Time

RACW is seeking a full time maintenance person for facilities located in Washington County.

Candidate must have the ability to perform a variety of duties related to building maintenance including general repairs, mechanical repairs, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, housekeeping, grounds keeping and snow removal.

Responsibilities:

• Observe and monitor the building systems, maintaining the preventative maintenance schedule of those systems to ensure their proper operation.
• Identify and possible repair of the heating/cooling units, lighting fixtures, appliances, toilets and faucets.
• Complete apartment vacancy turnovers in a timely manner.
• Prepare building for inspections and follow through with documentation.
• Clean common areas and building trash removal.
• Perform common area floor cleaning including stripping, waxing and polishing, vacuuming and shampooing.
• Maintain building grounds including grass cutting and snow removal to ensure safety and a good appearance to the general public.
• Ensure all outside contractor work for quality and applicable standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

*Ability to operate snow removal equipment is preferred.Candidate must have basic computer skills to ensure success in using property management software.Excellent benefit package. Uniforms are provided.Please include a resume with salary requirements and work history with interest.
